Indian Bahrain-based collector, curator, and businesswoman Kaneka Subberwal is driven by her passion for contemporary art. With decades of experience curating over 60 art exhibitions across four continents, she founded Art Select in 2008.

Through her strategic vision and direction for Art Select, Subberwal has pioneered initiatives forging bridges between artistic talent in Bahrain and around the world.

Bahraini artists are now connected to galleries, collectors, and art enthusiasts internationally and have exhibited in some of the most prestigious art destinations, from the Grand Palais in Paris to the Museum of Contemporary Art in Singapore. Subberwal’s influence, vision, and leadership have seen Art Select expand into offering services across multiple sectors.
